Zeena skin care is a limited company set up by two Asian professional sisters with a genuine insight into Asian culture and beliefs.

Dr Tazeen Usmani (BChd M Orth MSc (Manc) RCS (Edin) is a practicing orthodontist based in Cheshire, managing and working in her own practice

Dr Naila Usmani (MbChb BSc (Pharm)MRCP)is a practicing consultant dermatologist working in the Yorkshire

‘The idea to produce an anti-tan gel which worked on my own type of skin came to me while I was on hot sunny holiday abroad I came home and talked to my sister, who is a consultant dermatologist about developing a skin product which ticked all the boxes and was affordable.

Naila says “Uzuri gives you everything that you would expect from a good sun protection system – UVA and UVB protection, which help to stop burning and premature ageing. But because it is a transparent gel it leaves no white residue. Its special formulation means that it is easy to apply, gliding over the skin needing very little rubbing in. It is none greasy but leaves the skin with a luster and sheen.”

We are currently opening negotiations with major supermarkets and high street retailers to make Uzuri more widely available.
